                              Nieko
Darleen, Bianca & Phil,
We just wanted to a take minute and let you know what a wonderful addition our Husky has been to our family.  We took Nieko home in May of 2007 and now neither Danielle or myself can imagine being without him!  Nieko is really smart, healthy and loving.  He is an extra friendly dog that loves everyone he meets. People comment all the time what a handsome dog he is and we just wanted to say thank you for such an amazing friend!
Thank you, Chris & Danielle

                    Pearl
Bianca & Phil,
Named her Pearl, it seems to fit, birthday almost being Pearl Harbour Day.  She will never be at a loss for love and affection in this house.  My whole family is ga-ga over her.  She has won over everyone's heart.  Thank you so much for having a puppy available.  I am expecting many years of companionship.  Everything is great and I couldn't be happier. She gets along with people and other dogs very well.  She is the light of my life and the decision to bring her home with me is the best thing I could have ever done.  Maybe sometime during the summer I can take a ride and bring her up to show you her to you.  Gotta run for now.  She is letting me know it's time to be fed and she doesn't like to be kept waiting.
Thank you, John

          Rusty
Bianca & Phil,
I can imagine your house must seem extermely quiet now. I wanted to let you know Rusty seems to be adapting well to his new home.  He is a very friendly and cuddly dog, he plops down and curls up next to us if we sit on the floor.  I am amazed how well behaved he is.  I'll send you some new pictures soon.

Phil & Bianca,
How have you been? We wanted to send you some updated pictures of Wylee. He got pretty big over the past couple of months, but has been a very good boy. He does love to get dirty though! We moved to Columbia about a month ago so he is a farm dog now. We have two cleared acres for him and his brothers to run around on and we are hoping to get some horses and maybe a goat in the spring. He loves the new place!

Bianca & Phil,
Thanks so much for your call-Juneau is doing GREAT! He is absolutely so loveable, likes to cuddle and really has no problem with people picking him up and holding him-of course everyone's friends have been over to see him! He's eating great-always hungry. He loves going outside w/all the things to look at/smell and most of all he loves rolling around in the grass-likes the coolness and wetness of it. The last couple of days he has really caught on to the house training and as long as we get him outside on a schedule he's really good about not having accidents in the house. He's really a great dog and has adjusted well to our family.  He also has gotten use to the car and usually just falls asleep in his crate while we are driving around.  Juneau continues to be such a great puppy! Although, he's definitely mischievous-he'll grab something and start chewing it and look at you like" yea I know I'm not supposed to be doing this but you can't catch me!" He is a handsome dog let me tell you-- the ladies at the vet can't keep their hands off of him!! His eyes are definitely greenish-almost like the color of jade. He likes to play and we know he would love to have one of his brothers around!! How would we do this? When do you suggest we would bring another puppy home? I guess I would want to have Juneau a little closer to being house trained-he's doing a good job but we're not there yet! Let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks so much!!
Beth, Kurt & Family
P.S - It's so funny, in the last week Juneau has grown "eyebrows."

                Yukon
Bianca,
Yukon is just great! He's also very sweet and is already sticking to me during the day much more than Juneau-Juneau is very independent-likes to play with his toys. When I'm in the kitchen cleaning up/cooking or whatever Yukon sits there right next to me watching-Juneau's off somewhere chewing his toy but Yukon is always with one of us. Juneau has been jumping on Yukon NON-STOP! Poor Yukon he just keeps having to throw him off. They are incredibly fun to watch-I know you're so use to it-but it puts you in a good mood just to watch them! When they wrestle it 's good because they go back and forth with who wins-when we first brought Yukon home I felt a little badly as Juneau was really getting the better of him-think Yukon just didn't know what was going on! Now Yukon gives as good as he gets!! Both are in the crate that Juneau had and it works fine for now-so nice to see them snuggling when they sleep. I know Yukon will like it here and with a playmate in Juneau, the two of them will be happy. We have a big yard and lots of room to run around and three kids who adore them and give them tons of affection.Tell Phil that indeed Yukon is really just incredibly loving, smart and is a real people dog-he does just sit there and follow you with his big brown eyes! They are so happy to have each other!
Thanks again!

                    Yukon & Juneau
Phil & Bianca.
We were thinking about you Sunday on the boys' birthday. We just wanted to send you some pictures and tell you that we just love having Juneau and Yukon!!
Take care, The Hanssons.

                       Rusty
Bianca,
Hi!  Congratulations on the new puppies.  Rusty has had quite a second year.  He has been busy!  He did a walk to empower in the spring to raise money for breast cancer programs.  He has attended all the concerts on the green Tuesday nights.  He went to the Memorial Day parade.  He went to a few church picnics.  He comes with us when we walk to eat out if the place has outdoor seating.  He also goes with us to most summer family picnics. Over the summer we started bringing him to a doggie daycare on occassion.  Especially when it got hot.  I guess he took over the pool.  He wouldn't get out and wouldn't share either!   Now we try to get him there once a week to play with the other dogs.  He absolutely loves it there.  He also got his new best friend, our son Pierce.  They are buds and are inseperable.  For a while, the baby just treated Rusty like a speed bump and would crawl right over him.  Rusty didn't even bat an eye.  But of course now Pierce thinks it is so much fun to share dinner with Rusty! Pierce is now 16 months old and can walk, run, jump and climb.  So he can keep Rusty on his toes. This picture was from a day when we were out raking leaves.    -Jess

               Chilly
Chilly is doing great.  He is doing pretty well on the paper training. He still has accidents but it is so cold out I havent been able to start moving him outside. Pretty soon Ill start that process.
He has gotten used to his crate and is doing really well staying in there when I need him to.
He stayed with Luke the last couple of days and got along really well with their dog, Delilah.
She is about 6 yrs old and was very motherly with him as he pounced on her and nipped at her legs :-)
He is very playful and sensitive. He follows me around like my shadow, and likes to lay right on my feet when I cook and when Im sitting watching TV.
Ive attached a couple of pics.  -Nick & Luke.

                            Dax
Dax is doing great! Training is going very well. He's happy and healthy and very playful. He's got a lot of gray fur coming in along his back and he's getting very big. I will keep you updated on him! He sends lots puppy kisses!  -Emily

                          Isla
We would love to come and see your gang! The training is going well. She has learned all her commands when I have treats, now to make her do them when my hands are empty is the trick! Today was our first official hike, she did so well, such a great partner, never tired and helped me up the steep parts!  Her markings are changing daily, she gets prettier everyday!   -Andrea & Family.
